CONSERVATION PLAN

PROTECTING BIODIVERSITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL BALANCE

Our CONSERVAR PLAN for COMPANIES offers Carbon Footprint Offset plans through the carbon captured in each hectare of protected environment in our nature reserves.

Each natural environment in a good state of conservation contains carbon reserves that have been captured over the years, both in the tree mass and in the soil. Offsetting emissions through the generation of protected areas is an excellent option since this methodology, in addition to offsetting, produces a large number of other benefits such as biodiversity conservation, oxygen production, water retention, etc.
We work in environments of high environmental value that have lost large amounts of surface area, so the conservation of the areas that still exist is of vital interest and importance.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

A corporate climate action plan is not only based on reforestation. Biodiversity conservation and protection actions are an important part of thinking about positive impact programs. We protect areas that contain carbon and prevent deforestation by creating nature reserves.

1.Your company seeks to have A POSITIVE IMPACT
and contacts Bayka

2. WE DEFINE YOUR COMPANY'S INTERNAL METRIC to give us a starting point: (carbon footprint, surface area used, number of employees, etc.)

3. WE DESIGN A CUSTOM PLAN based on our PLANTATION and REGENERATION work model.

4. WE CREATE NATURAL RESERVES of an area that matches the company's internal metrics. (Ej: 1 meter of reserve per 1 meter of office).

5. WE EXECUTE the action, MONITOR progress and COMMUNICATE the POSITIVE IMPACT ACHIEVED.

KNOW IN ORDER TO CONSERVE

1/ Research work on different groups of species in the Reserve.

2/ Wildlife monitoring with camera traps.

3/ Nest Box Program, as a conservation tool.

4/ Environmental education programs for schools and groups.

5/ Photographic survey of wildlife.

ERASING FOOTPRINTS, CONSERVING ECOSYSTEMS

The loss of our natural environments is closely related to the loss of biodiversity and the extinction of many of our native fauna and flora species.

When an environment is degraded or fragmented, thousands of species are condemned to disappear year after year, affecting the balance of ecosystems and also the future of humanity.

Despite more than 10 years of uninterrupted work in the Atlantic Forest, this environment continues to provide us with surprises, as we continue to find species never before recorded in the Reserve.
This shows that protecting an ecosystem and allowing its restoration contributes to the return of many species that make use of its resources or find their home here.
