We close the year with great news!
In Bayka we have increased our commitment to the restoration and regeneration of the environment, increasing by 40% our conservation area through a new nature reserve on the banks of the Iguazú River.
Our new reserve "La Morita" conserves 37 hectares of Atlantic forest in the center of the Andresito Peninsula Biological Corridor, in the province of Misiones, which connects the Iguazú National Parks of Argentina and Brazil, protecting characteristic and emblematic species such as the tapir, the jaguar, the palo rosa and the palmito.
The addition of conserved hectares also allows us to align ourselves with the new COP15 objectives that set the goal of conserving 30% of the planet by 2030. A goal that we will only achieve if we ALL work together.
